Fire Marshal Some helpful links: Fire Safety Tips
Rescue Squads: The Fire Marshal's Office is responsible for enforcing the laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations of the township as they would pertain to Fire Safety in the interest of the health, safety, and welfare of the community. In an attempt to accomplish this task this office provides a Fire Safety and Inspection program for commercial and industrial businesses as well as schools and non-profit organizations. The Fire Marshal's Office also aids in coordinating with the local Volunteer Fire Companies, Rescue Squads, and Police Department in helping to develop and conduct community relations and education programs to promote fire safety. The Fire Marshal's Office works closely with the Police Department in conducting investigations into suspected crimes relating to fire and explosives. During times of emergency the Fire Marshal's Office works to coordinate operations with organizations such as the American Red Cross, The Bucks County Emergency Management Agency, the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
