Mayor Fenton’s Report for April 12, 2007

 


Recreation

Our annual Easter Egg Hunt went wonderful. We had a large number of children in attendance and the weather was fabulous. We would like to thank residents, Kelly Cappriotti and her daughter Nicole for donation of our Easter Bunny.

Earth Day

The fourth annual Bristol Township spring clean-up will be held Saturday, April 21st in conjunction with Earth Day and Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Day. Please help keep our township beautiful. Dumpsters will be placed at the municipal site for this purpose. Township personnel and equipment will be available from 8:00am to 2:00pm to assist. In addition Code enforcement personnel will be out addressing related needs. The Readjustment Program, juvenile youth offenders, will also be involved in accordance with the District Justices.Community Groups wishing to participate contact our Public Works Department at 215-785-2758.

Coates Ave. Community Center

I would like to thank Senator Tomlinson for the award of a DCED Grant in the amount of $75,000 to complete the Veterans portion of the Coates Avenue Community Center.
