In accordance with the requirements of the grant, the County and Municipalities designated the Township of Bristol as the fiscal agent to apply for the funding on behalf of all the eligible agencies in the County to administer the grant.

The agencies met and decided that to maximize the benefit to each agency and the communities they serve, it was best to allow the agencies to develop individual spending plans within their own allocations of JAG funds.

The primary goals for this funding are to support law enforcement programs, stabilize local budgets and to provide technology advancements, equipment and supplies to increase and enhance the capabilities of law enforcement.

On behalf of all the municipalities and the county, I welcome your comments, input and questions on the intended use of the funds. You may contact Detective Robert Lebo, the Grant Administrator, directly with your feedback by e-mail at police@bristoltownship.org.
